NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Crye-Leike Realtors, the nations 6th largest real estate company, recently held its annual meeting announcing a record 6.1 billion dollars in company sales for 2006. Despite overall predictions of sluggish real estate sales, Crye-Leike had its best year in its 30-year history, maintaining its spot as the largest real estate company in Tennessee and #1 in the Mid-south.
Crye-Leike Realtors President, Dick Leike, says, " This is a great time to buy a house. Consumers have choices, interest rates are as low as they've ever been and the cost of living in the Mid-south is low. Now is the time to buy."
Crye-Leike's Middle Tennessee Region had a strong finish at $1.6 billion in sales, a 9 percent increase over the year before. These figures represent approximately 8,920 closings by its 1,000 plus sales associates in the Nashville area.
